Colour Line Aniline 250ml Leather Care Colour Line Aniline (CLA) is used to restore colour to aniline leather. It is a water-based, transparent dye containing a fixing agent and fat liquors. CLA combines several functions in one application: a colour that is easily incorporated into the leather, a fixing agent that ensures long lasting colour that will not transfer onto clothing, and fat liquors that condition the leather and provide additional protection. CLA can be used to refresh faded leather and to hide or blend light scrapes and scratches. It also is great for shading mismatched panels on aniline furniture. Because furniture does not fade evenly, CLA is designed to be applied in layers – the more layers you apply the darker the colour. This allows you to create many shades with the one colour. CLA should be applied by hand wiping – proper adhesion will not be achieved by spraying. CLA is self-fixing, so you don’t need apply a top-finish. Suitable for aniline leather.
